Instructions for burning Sintendo Beta version
For use with the Utopia Boot Disk

It is theoretically possible to burn a self-booting version of Sintendo, using instuctions which are posted on http://boob.dcwarez.com in the "tools" section. This method has not
been testedwith Sintendo.

What you will need:

SintendoDC.exe - Provided with Sintendo

1ST_READ.BIN - Also provided with Sintendo

0gdtex.pvr - Optional spinning disc image.
(One of two may be downloaded from the "graphics" at htpp://sintendo.dcwarez.com)

WINCE - Directory, more about this later.

SNES - Directory, containing all ROMs you wish to play, up to 128
All ROMS can have filenames up to 31 characters, including the extensions.
Filenames can have capital and lower case letters, but none of the OS specific characters, (i.e. ? / : \ et cetera), nor should they include periods (except for before the extension)
Name your ROMs wisely, this name will be the one displayed on the ROM menu.

There should be a total of two or three files and two directories. Put them all in the same directory (I call mine "Sintendo Burn"). The WINCE directory will not be provided with Sintendo for legal reasons. If you purchased a copy of a Windows CE game for the Dreamcast, then you legal own a copy of the libraries held therein, and are free to make a backup. I am told that the libraries used for "Midway's Greatest Hits" has all the files Sintendo needs. You will have to obtain these libraries on your own. If you have an image of the game, you can use IsoBuster (it has a simple interface) to extract these files. The complete Windows CE directory has 96 files, way more than Sintendo needs, but it is good to be safe. I can not be held responsible for the illegal use and/or copying of these libraries for use with Sintendo.

The directory should not exceed 650 MB, though you may desire it to be smaller (perhaps 630 MB) to leave room for future versions of Sintendo.

Once you have this directory prepared, open up Nero. If the wizard opens, close it. Select "File > New" from the menu and you will be allowed to change the settings. The settings required for Sintendo are as follows:

Multisession tab:
	No multisession

File Options tab:
ISO Level 2 (Max of 31 chars)
	Mode 1
	ISO 9660
	Joliet
	*Nothing else should be changed*

Volume Discriptor:
	Volume Label: "SINTENDO"

Hit "New" to the right of the dialog box. On the right, find the directory where you placed all the Sintendo information. Drag the files one at a time over to the right, I always start with "1ST_READ.BIN", as it *may* have to be dragged first, but I am unsure. After all files are moved across (including the WINCE directory), choose "File > Write CD..." from the menu.

Under the burn tab, don't select "Simulation", "Finalize CD", or "Disc-at-once". All the other settings should be *relatively* safe to change, provided you know what you are doing.

Finally, click "Write" on the right of the dialog box to begin burning the CD.

When it is done, load the Dreamcast with the Boot CD first, and put in the Sintendo disc when it asks. Enjoy.

How to use Multisession to save CD-Rs:

Multisession CDs can be used to replace files in the file system with newer files. The old files still exist on the CD, but the file pointers change to the new file location. You can do this as many times as space allows.

This can be used to upgrade verions of Sintendo at a later date. To replace the executable, copy the new version into your "Sintendo Burn" (or whatever) directory, and replacethe existing file.

Open Nero. Again, close the wizard and go to "File > New...". Use these options:

Multisession tab:
	Continue multisession disk
	Replace files in compilation
		File date of length changed
	Add new files to compilation

File Options tab:
ISO Level 2 (Max of 31 chars)
	ISO 9660
	Joliet
	*Nothing else should be changed*

Volume Discriptor:
	Volume Label: "SINTENDO"

Click "New". It will scan the CD in the drive and show you all the sessions the CD has. Select the last one. If Nero does not auto update the files, simply drag all changes across. Select "File > Write..." and write the CD in the same manner.

That's about it for now. I hope these instructions are clear enough. If you have problems, please feel free to go to http://sintendo.dcwarez.com and post questions or concerns on the Message Board. Do not email me about problems with burnig Sintendo, I won't respond. It does work and other people have successfully been able to run Sintendo. People should be willing to help you in my message board, but I haven't the time. To save other people time helping you, please be specific about your questions and give all pertinant information.

Thank you for your support.
